The other 3 lights are located in the start on the Christmas tree, and in each red stocking. Each frame requires two AA batteries which are not included. Batteries are inserted on the bottom of the frame. These Christmas frames come with an easel back for table top display, and are easy to customize. The back of the frame features 3 turn button fasteners. Twist to remove the backing of the frame. Once the picture is inserted, replace the back and and turn the button fasteners back into place to secure the frame.
